Following the flowers
Lately, I’ve been craving weekends shaped by gardens instead of agendas. I spent a long weekend in Los Angeles wandering through rose-filled paths, bougainvillea-lined streets, floral murals, and cafés tucked into pockets of green—the kind of travel that softens your pace and leaves a little more space to think.
With spring just beginning to show itself across the city, it felt like the right moment to slow down, notice what’s blooming, and let color lead the way for a few days. If you’re feeling that same pull to step outside routine—toward flowers, coffee breaks, and small moments of beauty—check out our full three-day L.A. itinerary (linked below). I hope it inspires a little wandering of your own, whether that leads you to Los Angeles or somewhere closer to home.
Xoxo,
Kristen
P.S. It’s that time of year again—our wildflower bloom map and guide to cherry blossom gardens & festivals are updated to help with all your springtime flower finding!

Live Inside the Bloom
We’ve long been superfans of Kerry Simmons’ work, and we’re so excited to share her newest collection of floral prints now available in her Spoonflower shop.
Her designs are *so* dreamy and densely packed, swirling with color and expressive movement. Each design can be ordered as fabric or brought to life as wallpaper, bedding, and other textiles to surround your space with Kerry’s artful, joy-filled florals.
